Where all the external and internal powers are trying to raise the funds and help people in need, in order to deal with the situation in India and help people come back to their home safely and not die due to scarcity of oxygen support and medical equipment, there is something people can do to save themselves.

Here is this blog for your awareness so you can learn more about the concerning situation rising pan India and learn how to deal with it.

What is covid wave 2?

India had its first covid case reported in March 2020 and there is no stopping since then. India enforced strict lockdown starting 22nd March 2020 but number of cases still kept growing but mortality rate was not alarming as most of the people were returning back to their homes safely defeating the virus. In the beginning, people with chronic illness were more vulnerable and had lower success rates. Kids and youngsters were unimpacted due to their higher immune systems.

Slowly market started opening, people started coming out for their bread and butter. Kids started playing again with their friends. There were weddings, family functions started taking place. Most of the tourism places started welcoming tourists. Amidst when things were getting back to normal, there was a lack in keeping or following the covid guidelines. Masks took the place under the chins and social distancing was just in the dreams.

Where numbers started going down around September 2020, things started back to normal but who knew around the same time in March 2021, it will stike again and with higher velocity. With in the month, number of cases reported reaches to 4 times and formed wave 2.

In the month of april 2021, India was at its worst.

Who is impacted?

Where covid wave 1 had a bigger impact on the population of 45+ year but wave 2 has an impact on kids and adults of age group (18–45) as well.

How to protect your self and your loved ones?

First thing that can be done, follow govt guidelines if any lockdown is enforced in your area.

Empty Roads

Stay indoors and when you step out, put on the double mask. You read it correct, yes double mask. That’s the need of this hour. Follow social distancing where ever you go.

After coming from any where, head straight to the wash room, clean your hands, face and change the clothes to avoid any impact of unconscious touch of any impacted surface.

Sanitize everything coming from outside before you touch, utilize or consume.

Last but not the least, what to do if you have covid?

At any first sign of sickness, get yourself tested. Whether the result comes positive or negative, Do Not Panic!

Positive attitude can win over the covid virus. If you or your family member is tested positive. Do not let virus take over your brain or heart.

If you start the treatment from the beginning while virus trying to replicate in your body, can be very effective. It takes 5–6 days to spread it effect in your body and that is the time you got to win this war with it. Days 6–10 are very crucial and critical that is where you win or loose the war. Be determined that you only have to win, there is no way of loosing it.

Do follow followings if tested positive and mostly you will not be needing emergency medical services:
